About Us
Scott Sowers is the owner of SLS Legacy Group, LLC.
He has nearly 20 years of experience in accounting, financial leadership, and financial coaching. Scott's experience includes a Fortune 500 company and his own financial coaching practice. His leadership has helped smaller operations to large segments, and business units of various sizes in between. Scott has extensive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), corporate accounting & consolidations, and acquisition integration.
Scott is registered as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois. He is a financial coach who is passionate about helping people understand and change their financial legacy. Scott has been a financial coach since 2007. He completed Ramsey Solutions Financial Coach Master Training in 2018 and became a YNAB Certified Coach in 2025.
He has facilitated his own financial stewardship course, Financial Peace University, Crown Financial Life Groups, and Faith & Finances.
